Set your priorities straight
When planning out a Lake Como Wedding, as with all of the other destination weddings out there, you need to make sure that you are able to set your priorities straight. You will need to plan out a wedding that will more or less fit well with your budget or whatever other requirements or priorities you would like it to have in the first place. It is easy to say that you would like to set up a wedding in the country, or a beach wedding, or a Lake Como wedding, but you need to know exactly what you are looking for so that you will be able to narrow down your search to the ones that will really get to fit you and your wedding best.
The last thing you want to do is just say that you would like to plan out a Lake Como wedding but you have not really decided on which venues to put on your short list when it all comes down to it. Things can be tricky if you don’t set things aside ahead of time. Make sure that you always take note of what your priorities are so that you will be easily able to check things off or decide on whether you would like to include them in your potential choices at some point or so.
It is also very important that you study the site’s personality. Try to check out the current vibe or culture of the locals in the Lake Como wedding that you are planning and try to see if it is something that you can see yourself in once you fast forward to your wedding day. If you have the extra time and the extra money for it, then by all means, try to scout the location ahead of time. Try to really get a feel for the place so that you will be able to tell if it is indeed the kind of location that you would like the most important day of your life to be held in and celebrated in one way or the other. Every place and venue vary greatly based on amenities, or culture, or other attributes. Make sure that you know exactly what you are getting into before you decide on anything.
Keep your guests in mind
You should always make sure that you keep your guests in mind when you are planning a unique destination wedding such as a Lake Como wedding. Try to think about your close friends and family members who might have the travel arrangements and the logistics a bit of a problem. There are some people who have a certain phobia for riding in planes or travelling by boat, and so on and so forth. You need to make sure that you are able to take all of this into account before you make any decisions so that you will be able to make sure that you don’t end up leaving anyone out. Keep them in mind as much as possible and try to make sure that you go for something that will be a good fit for everyone.
